A downloadable game for Windows
A very simple volleyball-style game with joystick-like controls.
The game is currently very bare-bones, but I plan to add a proper scoring mechanism and an AI to play against.
Controls:
Arrow keys: Change position
Z: Hit
X: Charges next shot
Energy is built up by performing well-timed returns. Pressing X lets you use energy to charge up your next return into a strike, but if you move while charged up you will lose the charge and the energy used for it. Pay attention to predict where the ball will land, and get in position to begin charging!
Unfortunately I had to drop the HTML5 version due to compatibility issues and since GameMaker Studio 2 does not include the HTML5 export module.

Nice little game. Reminds me of that baseball with winnie the pooh, where you fight several bosses with weird pattern. The ball passes behind the character, if you wanna fix that later on.
It's quite fun for how little there is right now. Neat controls, positioning and timing is intuitive, good core gameplay. Only gripe is how much the ball stays off screen when the bot goes to the top of the level. Maybe the camera could move up and/or zoom out a little if the ball gets too high?
